Let It Snow – SLJ 2022-2023 – Mark – Blog Number 17 – Kick Start

Hello everyone,

We are in windy Wellington this week.  The weather is sometimes sunny then windy then rainy then sunny again. Let’s make  it snow  too. Thought of using  this picture of me at the Beehive for my scratch project today. The Beehive is where the Prime Minister and other ministers make laws and announcements for the country. They are all on holiday at the moment so  we didn’t  get to meet Jacinda Arden. To watch it snow press the green flag.

  1. Kia ora Mark,

It’s Charlotte here, a blog commenter for Manaiakalani. Wow – you have done an excellent job on this task!

I thought it was awesome how you made it snow when I clicked the green flag! How did you find this activity? Do you have any tips and tricks on how to make this activity easier for your readers?

I agree! The weather in Wellington can be very unreliable! Sometimes it is so hot, sometimes it is windy, and sometimes it is cold, it can’t make up its mind! Have you seen snow before? I love going skiing but we don’t have much snow here in New Zealand!

    1. Hi Charlotte

Thank you for the comments. The instructions were clear and simple so it was easy to do. I saw snow when we went to Mt. Hutt. It also snowed a little in Christchurch last year.

      Mark
